A representative joint delegation of the Embassy of France and the France–Russia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI France Russie), headed by the Ambassador of France to Russia Sylvi Bermann, will participate in the 4th Eastern Economic Forum, which will take place in Vladivostok on 11–13 September 2018.
The delegation is expected to include 20 leaders of France–Russia businesses representing Rosbank, INSYSTEMS, Engie, Servier Russia, ZAO GK Electroshield – TM Samara, ARMO Engineering Group, Poma, VINCI Concessions, AECOM and others.
The France–Russia Chamber of Commerce and Industry noted that the business community highly appreciated the personal invitation of Yury Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, to the business of France to participate in the Eastern Economic Forum. It was emphasized that French companies took a keen interest in EEF. Today, the Far East accounts for 30% of all foreign investment in Russia, and French companies are looking to grow their presence in the Far Eastern Federal District.

Bahrain Joins Framework Declaration on Conservation of Gyrfalcons
The Kingdom of Bahrain has become the seventh country to join the Declaration of Intent for the Conservation of the Gyrfalcon Population. The document was adopted by Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and the UAE as part the Falcon Day International Forum, which was first held in Vladivostok during the 8th Eastern Economic Forum. The event was managed by the Roscongress Foundation.
