“A month before the 7th Eastern Economic Forum kicks off, representatives
of 40 countries have confirmed that they will attend the event. This high level
of interest shows how the EEF has become the most popular global business
platform devoted to expanding international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.
We are looking to hosting foreign leaders and high-level guests. We have created
an intensive business programme devoted to key issues revolving around the
development of the Far East, the global and regional economy, international
cooperation, and a discussion of ways out of the current crisis and the new global
architecture. Today we find ourselves in a new world order, and our key
objective under the Forum’s main theme – “The Path to a Multipolar World” – is
to restructure business processes and find new ways to drive economic cooperation
and growth. I am confident that the Forum will once again prove to be the
leading discussion platform in the Asia-Pacific Region,” Anton Kobyakov, Adviser
to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the EEF
Organizing Committee.
The 7th Eastern
Economic Forum programme contains more than 70 business events, including bilateral
business dialogues between Russia and India, Russia and Vietnam, Russia and
ASEAN, and a meeting of the Russian-Chinese Business Council and the Conference
on Investment and Trade in the Arctic. Around 4,000 delegates and media
representatives are expected to attend EEF 2022. The Forum is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation. Media
representatives can now register on the EEF 2022 official website.
All real-time news on
preparations for EEF 2022 is available on the official Forum social network
